I am a new climber and I only go once a week. I bought this harness because the rented ones are just uncomfortable. I weigh 110 Lbs and I find this harness very comfortable to wear. On those spots where you just need to hang out and take a break for a bit this harness does not get uncomfortable at all. It also does not pinch when you are coming down off the wall. I have a 27 inch waist and I find that it fits around my tiny frame almost perfect.

Bought one of these (“Orchid” color) for my girlfriend when we started climbing regularly. She absolutely loves the thing. She claims that it’s far more comfortable than the harnesses rented out by our local indoor climbing gym, and I’m inclined to agree — I bought the men’s version Black Diamond Momentum AL Harness not long before I bought her this one.
One note regarding the sizing: she was right on the edge between small and medium (in the waist), so I bought her the medium, but it turns out that the small would have fit her legs better. Be sure to check both sizes before ordering.
